How to Install GOtv Decoder

step 1: Connect the GOtv decoder to the TV using the Audio and Video (AV) cables provided in the GOtv pack. Afterwards, connect the GOtenna to the GOtv decoder. The GOtenna has double sided tape to assist in fixing it to a place which has the best reception. Connect the decoder power supply, the decoder should be switch on.

step 2. Now switch your TV on and press the AV button on the TV remote control to go to the appropriate AV channel and wait. After a few seconds, the GOtv logo will appear. Your TV screen will automatically change to show the GOtv set up screen after a few seconds.

Step 3: Select your language option as English, press OK, select your country as Nigeria, press OK, on Active Antenna, if using a stub antenna (provided in the decoder packaging), Press OK, the decoder will start scanning automatically.

NOTE: The decoder will take approximately six minutes to scan through the channels. Do not interrupt the scanning process, be patient as the decoder scans. Once the GOtenna is secure on your pole, you have to connect the cable to the back of the connection box using the screw-on connector (the end with the black rubber boot)

step 4. Once the decoder has finished scanning it will indicate the number of services acquired. Press OK to continue, the decoder will take you to the GO Channel automatically. Stay on the GOtv channel until the activation process is successfully completed. This channel has instructions on how to activate your decoder, the self-help options available, where to make payments, and where the terms and conditions can be obtained. If the decoder does not acquire services, it will automatically take you to the signal detection screen. In this case, you have to adjust your antenna by turning it to another direction or moving it around until the signal level goes above 50% on the TV screen before pressing OK to rescan the decoder again. Try turning the antenna upright (vertically) or in a flat position (horizontally) and make sure that there are no obstructions in the direction of the transmitter. If all fails, then contact your Accredited GTV Installer or the GOtv Contact Center.

How to Activate GOtv

After installation, you will see the GO Channel which signifies that your decoder is now ready for activation.

step 1: Under your decoder, you’ll find a red sticker with a number on it. You must always use this number when contacting GOtv.

Note:  Do not on any occasion use the number on the white barcode sticker under your decoder.  Only use the number on the red sticker under your decoder. You must also refer to the number on the red sticker only as your reference number when making payments.

step 2: To activate your account you must SMS the word “activate” and the number on the red sticker under your decoder to the short code number for your country. The GOtv Nigeria shortcode is (22688). You have to make sure you use the number on the red sticker only and that you type the number correctly before sending the SMS. Also, ensure your decoder is switched on when you send the SMS.

How to Activate GOTV Online

  • visit http://eazy.gotvafrica.com/en/ng/activations
  • Select your country as Nigeria
  • Fill the name you wish to use at the Username Box
  • Put your IUC Number at the IUC Number Box (your iuc number is located in the red sticker at the back of your GOtv decoder)
  • Put the phone number you wish to use on the Mobile Telephone box
  • Click the Activate button at the bottom.
  • Wait for the confirmation page to show up and that is it.

How to Subscribe GOtv

You can subscribe your GOtv in the different methods, GOtvsubscription option is split into different veriest. You can pay GOtv subscription by visiting any of the GOtv outlet or dealers nearest to you with your GOtv decoder, you can subscribe your GOtv visiting FCMB Bank, Zenith Bank. You can also pay GOtv subscription online easily without undergoing stress.

How To Subscribe GOtv With FCMB Bank

Cash is received by FCMB tellers at all FCMB Branches in Nigeria. The customer is required to fill a form by the teller by inputting your name, phone number and IUC number.

How to Subscribe GOtv With Zenith Bank

This method is a mobile wallet from Zenith Bank, Nigeria, the application can be downloaded from the mobile app store or from www.eazymoney.com.ng. Logging inwww.eazymoney.com.ng, Select Bill payment. Select Eazy money or bank depending on where the customer wants to pay. The Biller Number is the smartcard number. Customer must enter the amount intending to pay. Customer must Input 4 digit Secret PIN and will receive SMS for successful or unsuccessful payment. The App on a phone can be used by multiple users. NB: (Bank is for Zenith Account holders who has linked their account to the mobile wallet known as the Banked Customers while Eazy money selection is for Non-Zenith Account Holders called Unbanked Customers).The Biller Code is DStv.

How to Subscribe GOtv with Stanbic mobile

The Stanbic Mobile Wallet is USSD-based, you can pay for Gotv subscription using the Stanbic Mobile Wallet. The customer is required to dial a short code and the menu will be displayed on the user phone screen. Dial *909# on your mobile phone and send Select ‘4’ and press Register. Provide all your information required on each field and press send.

To make a payment: Visit the Mobile Money WAP site on www.stanbicibtcbank.mobi Select Mobile Money Input your number. How to Pay GOtv Subscription Online

Paying for your GOTV subscription online is the easiest method, it can be done anywhere whether in your comfort of home or office. You can pay GOtv Subscription With Quickteller QuickTeller allows the subscriber to pay into his/her subscription account for the renewal of his/her services right from the Quick Teller web link. This platform interfaces with the Integrated billing system (IBS) and gives the subscriber immediate values that prompts an automatic re-connection of the disconnected service within the period of 5 minutes maximum.

  • To Pay Your GOtv Subscription Online Switch your decoder on if your GOtv account has already been disconnected.
  • Log on to www.quickteller.com/gotv and elect the GOtv bouquet/plan of your choice (GOtv plus, GOtv Value, or GOtv Lite).
  • Enter your e-mail address, IUC number, and your mobile phone number.
  • Click NEXT and enter the GOtv subscriber’s name and confirm that your GOtv IUC number was filled correctly.
  • Click PAY and click on your debit card type i.e. Interswitch, Verve or MasterCard.
  • Enter your card details i.e. Card Number and Expiry Date as inscribed on your debit card, and then enter your 4 digit PIN.
  • Click PAY once, the transaction has been completed and your GOtv account is credited, your viewing will be restored.

How to Subscribe GOtv With E Tranzact

Visit www.etranzact.com. Click on “PAY GOTV”, on top of the main menu. You will be redirected to the payment page. Then click on GOtv.

Pay GOtv Subscription With GlobalPAY

To make an online payment for your GOtv subscription using GlobalPAY. Visit eazy.gotvafrica.com/pay and then log into your account. Go to the PAY page and select GlobalPAY and then fill in your payment details as required and then click on Complete Payment GlobalPAY.com. You will be redirected to the GlobalPAY website where you will be prompted to select your Card Type and then enter your Card Number and then click on Pay. You will be redirected back to your account on the GOTV Eazy website

Pay GOTV Subscription With PayU

In order to make payment for GOTV subscription, using credit card payments via PayU follow the process below: Login to your account on eazy.gotvafrica.com. Go the Pay page and click on the PayU logo. You will be redirected to the PayU payment page to enter your credit card details and complete the payment. After processing of the payment and confirmation on PayU, you will be redirected back to the Eazy Self Service website.

How to Pay for GOTV subscription With Konga

To make payments for your GOTV subscription using KongaPay. Visit konkgapay.com or download the app ( available for Android and iOS devices) and then register or log in to your account. Go to services and bills and select TV subscription Select GOTV as the subscription type and input your smart card number. Your details, as well as current bouquet plan, are automatically pre-populated on the screen. To change current plan select the bouquet drop-down menu and select appropriately. Select *Auto-renew every month* to authorize GOTV to automatically bill and renew your subscription every month. Select *Pay* and input your KongaPay pin and OTP sent to your phone. Select confirm, the transaction has been completed and your GOTV account is activated.
